HÀ NỘI — Some 7,300 houses will be built and rebuilt in Hà Nội from now until July 27 for people with recognised contribution to the nation. This was stated by Nguyễn Quốc Khánh, deputy director of the city’s Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs on Wednesday. It is part of a series of welfare plans for people with recognised contribution to the nation on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers, he said. Among them is the public health nursing work for national contributors, which has been running for more than 20 years. It is equipped to detoxify an average of 500 patients per year and provide regular care for 150 patients who are not capable of taking care of themselves.
