KAJANG: The government will soon introduce a new method of collecting recyclable items more efficiently. Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang said the environmental friendly method will be more efficient and allow people to generate income. He declined to reveal how it will work but pointed out it will allow for a more efficient process of collecting recyclable items. "We also can use the retrofit method- using energy efficient system- which results in savings in consumers monthly electricity bills by 20 to 30 per cent." Also present at the event were Uniten pro-chancellor Tan Sri Dr Ahmad Tajuddin Ali and vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Kamal Nasharuddin Mustapha.
