While weddings will still be allowed with up to 15 guests at Tier 3- receptions will be banned, the new rules say. Funerals will be allowed up to 30 mourners at all levels, with only 15 people allowed at the wake. It is yet to be announced which areas will face which tier restrictions. Guidance published by the government today says weddings will still be subject to social distancing rules, under the new winter plan. Vast areas of Northern England endured months of restrictions as they were plunged into Tier 3 then the national lockdown.
