Both municipal corporations will now be able to constitute various panels, including standing committeeThe Delhi government on Friday has notified the wards and zones falling under the south and east municipal corporations. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government is yet to approve the wards under the north civic body of the Capital. With redrawing of boundaries of wards and zones, both south and east municipal corporations will now be able to constitute various committees, including the standing committee. As per the notification issued by the Urban Development Department after the Lieutenant Governor’s approval, 64 wards have been notified under various Shahdara zones. In south municipal corporation, the government has redrawn boundaries of 104 wards under seven zones.
