But yeah, it you watch this otherwise normal xXx: Return of Xander Cage spot all the way to the bitter end, you're treated to a surprise appearance by Ice Cube. Now, unless I missed it, I haven't read anything about Ice Cube being in this third xXx movie. As you probably know, Ice Cube was brought in to take over the franchise for xXx: State of the Union. The picture wrote out Xander Cage (and amusingly killed him off via a DVD supplemental feature) and brought in Cube to save the world from a tyrannical Willem Dafoe. Bringing in Ice Cube, even if it's just for (seemingly) a "Chuck Norris pops up to save the day in Expendables 2"-style cameo is a nice touch.
