Newcastle have suffered a major injury blow with Bruno Guimaraes expected to be ruled out for two months with a hamstring injury. The Newcastle captain pulled up in the closing stages of their 2-1 win over Tottenham in midweek. Eddie Howe confirmed on Friday that the club were waiting to discover the full extent of Guimaraes' injury. Guimaraes is now set to miss around eight weeks of action, which could rule him out of around 10 matches. The midweek win over Tottenham had been Guimaraes's second match back after a spell out with an ankle injury.
