Schar suffered an ankle injury in January and travelled to the Middle East for rehabilitation, only to get caught up in the conflict. He wrote: "I've just had a few of my most terrifying days having unfortunately witnessed first-hand what's happening in the Middle East. He did not explain how he managed to leave the Middle East, but the UK Government has now started evacuating British nationals from the region. An estimated 300,000 Brits are estimated to be in the Middle East and thousands have started returning from the UAE.
