Newham in east London recorded 695 knife crime offences between January and October 2025 according to the most recent Met Police data, which does not yet extend beyond this date. The most common knife crime in Newham was robbery, with 440 knife offences being identified as robberies. There were two victims of knife crime aged under 10, both of them dating from January. Of all 711 victims of knife crime in Newham, the most were aged over 25, followed by 10 to 17. We hope this move helps reduce the number of families who are left shattered by knife crime.
