Nguni Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Jeremiah Mutua has come out to dismiss reports alleging that he was assaulted in opposition territory for openly backing the Kenya Kwanza government. Mutua clarified that the incident in question took place on January 17, during a burial ceremony of the mother of Nuu Ward MCA Judith Wanza. According to the MCA, the ceremony began peacefully, and he was warmly received by mourners. The MCA added, "The attackers are well known, and several were clearly captured in widely circulated videos.
