As part of activities lined up for this year Nigeria Army Day, the authorities of 8 Division of the Nigerian Army in Sokoto State on Saturday conducted environmental sanitation across the metropolis to mark the day. The activities which started from the Gingiya barracks within the state capital covered mummy market gate up to Dambuwa roundabout. Led by the Garrison Commander of the Division, Brigadier General Ralph Nnebeife, assured residents that military is always ready to sacrifice anything for good relationship with civilians. He says the Nigerian Army cherished its relationship with the civilian populace and will do anything to make it cordial and complimentary. Motorist and commuters were seen appreciating the gesture of the officers and soldiers of the Nigeria Army while they discharge this corporate social responsibility.
