The witness said: “I heard some people shouting we love (you).”The appalling incident on a train near Huntingdon is deeply concerning. My thoughts are with all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services for their response. The attack is understood to have started shortly after the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train left Peterborough station. “I would like to thank the emergency services for their quick and professional response and the care they have provided to those injured. “It is important we allow the emergency services and authorities to establish the full facts before commenting further.”
