We took nine subjects and put them into unconventional forms: a song by Ben Folds about Rod Rosenstein, an investigative poem about fracking, a Betsy DeVos board game and much more. Ben Folds was interested in our idea of combining journalism with pop music, and it was new territory for him as well as us. ERIN That’s what I’ve been looking forward to the most: seeing my kids, my babies, and the transformation. I’d have their events to be a part of, but I don’t know if they’d always want me there. Matthew, Alicia and two other chaperones take tickets and IDs from attendees, dispensing compliments and reminders to vote for king and queen.
