This is the fourth set if charges against Ghosn since he was first arrested on November 19 last year and as expected, his lawyers immediately requested bail. On the same day, Nissan submitted a complaint to the prosecutors office, alleging it was adversely affected by Ghosn's misconduct. According to a spokesperson, Ghosn is still pleading innocence of all charges, something he has done since he was first arrested. Ghosn was rearrested at the start of April onn fresh charges of financial misconduct. Monday's indictment means Ghosn will remain in jail unless the court agrees to release him on bail.
