In this connection, he added that arms and ammunition are being seized regularly and BGB personnel have been placed on high alert to this end. Emphasizing national interest, the Home Adviser asked BGB personnel to discharge their duties with utmost honesty, integrity, and vigilance. The Home Adviser called for absolute loyalty to the chain of command and urged BGB members to carry out both border security and internal law-and-order duties with professionalism and dedication.
