Mworoa said security agencies have put measures in place to ensure that all presidential meetings and public engagements proceed smoothly without disruptions. Mworoa noted that the regional security committee has taken note of such incidents and has strengthened security arrangements to prevent similar occurrences during the President’s visit. The regional commissioner also warned against the use of abusive language or carrying weapons to the meetings, saying security officers will not hesitate to take action against those who violate the law. “We do not expect any usage of bad language or carrying of weapons because in the past we have seen a few people coming to these meetings with weapons,” Mworoa said.
