No weather disturbance seen as LPA enters PARThe low pressure area (LPA) off the Pacific Ocean has entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) yesterday but is not likely to intensify into a tropical cyclone, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The LPA is also not expected to intensify into a tropical depression due to a ridge of high pressure area (HPA), an anti-cyclone weather system, extending across eastern Luzon. PAGASA estimated the location of the LPA at 1,280 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora before Saturday noon. PAGASA said it does not expect the formation of entry of tropical cyclone inside the country’s area of responsibility this week. TODAY’S FORECASTPAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the whole country this Sunday.
