Noel Gallager poked fun at the BRITs after being awarded the Songwriter of the Year on Saturday night. Controversy sparked when the nominations where announced in January and at the time Noel said: 'I haven't actually written a song in two years. When presented with the award from Bobby Gillespie, lead singer of Primal Scream, Noel first thanked his brother Liam. He said without them he would just be a singer songwriter, and 'no one gives a s*** about singer songwriters'. The British singer and songwriter, 26, won Best Artist, Best Album, Best Song and Best Pop Act.
