With the new guidelines issued under by the Union Home Ministry for Unlock 4, the Noida Metro is all set to resume operations along with the Delhi Metro from September 7. Ritu Maheshwari, managing director of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), said that the metro services will be resumed from Noida to Greater Noida on the Aqua line. Earlier, the NMRC had said that Noida Metro will resume services on the Aqua Line in a calibrated manner. "As per Unlock 4 guidelines, Noida Metro will resume its services on Aqua Line for public from Sept 7 onwards in caliberated manner. Metro services were halted on March 22 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus.
