The Noida authority is conducting a survey to identify land for constructing multilevel car parking facilities in residential and industrial areas. In the absence of adequate parking space in residential and industrial areas, motorists are in the habit of parking their vehicle on roads, thereby causing traffic jams. However, the parking space is not increasing in proportion to the sale of new vehicles. The authority said it will create parking facilities for 13,500 vehicles in different areas by the end of 2017-18. The survey conducted by the authority has identified the total need for parking space and available parking space.
