HMD Global, the company behind Nokia's comeback into the smartphone world, has confirmed that the Nokia 3 will skip the incremental Android 7.1.2 update and receive Android 8.0 Oreo directly. While the Nokia 8 has already begun receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update, the Nokia 3 is set to be updated to the latest flavour of Android very soon. We will transition straight to Oreo" in a response to a user's query regarding the Nokia 3's software update roadmap.
