Ontario Provincial Police are asking members of the public to familiarize themselves with email scams after one targeted a Norfolk County resident. On Saturday, police received a call from a concerned resident about an email they received from an unknown person demanding money. The email indicated the user was aware of the adult porn websites visited by the female victim. The email suggested if money wasn't sent then pictures of the adult sites would be forwarded to everyone in the victim's contact list. The victim realized this was a scam and didn't send money or personal information and immediately contacted police.
