Norfolk weather forecast: Warm temperatures hit at Christmas

The dream of a white Christmas is most likely to be reserved only for the Scottish Highlands as Norfolk is set for much warmer and milder air temperatures with highs of 14C. Christmas Day is set to see more rain than snow, a Met Office spokesman said: "For Norfolk, a mixed Christmas Day of weather is likely, with rain never too far away from the area. For those going out for walks and swims on Boxing Day much drier weather is expected although temperatures may be slightly colder with highs of 8C. Windy weather is set to remain throughout the week with people urged to take care in the extreme weather. Many of the flood alerts across the region are also still in place with the areas around the River Waveney, Wensum and Yare all urged to be cautious.
