EventForecast models indicate that a heatwave will persist across much of Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia through at least July 21. The worst affected is likely Morocco, with high temperatures persisting through at least July 21. As of early July 14, the respective meteorological services have issued the following high-temperature warnings across the affected area:Red heatwave warnings: Parts of west central and southern Morocco. Orange heatwave warnings: Parts of north central Algeria and parts of central and northern Morocco. Yellow heatwave warnings: Across northern and western Algeria, the rest of Morocco, and northern Tunisia.
