Orange heatwave warnings: the rest of far northeastern Algeria and most of the rest of TunisiaYellow heatwave warnings: across the rest of northeastern, central, and southwestern Algeria, Morocco, and the rest of Tunisia. The high temperatures are forecast to persist through at least July 31. The extended period of very high temperatures and dry conditions may increase the potential for wildfires throughout the region. In addition to significantly impacting athletes and those who work outdoors, high temperatures can cause problems for people using mass transit.
