For the scientific disposal of construction and demolition waste, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to establish another plant at Rani Khera, by March 2018. The civic agency has already received bids for the design and establishment of the C&D waste plant on a 3.55 acres land near Rohini. The land was transferred to North DMC by the Delhi Development Authority last year. Officials said the contractor will be also responsible for collection and processing of C&D waste from areas under Civil Lines, Rohini and Narela zone. According to him, at Rani Khera plant the contractor will use the same technology for converting C&D waste into useful products.
