As Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026 approaches, the festive buzz has already swept through Xuan Quan flower village in Hung Yen. On the afternoon of Sunday, February 1, Xuan Quan - located in Van Giang District - was a hive of activity. Personal vehicles from Hanoi and nearby provinces added to the congestion, as customers rushed in to get the best picks. Across the village, customers crowded around familiar Tet staples: cúc mâm xôi, moth orchids, roses, and a host of garden decorations. Xuan Quan remains one of the biggest flower-growing regions in northern Vietnam, supplying the Hanoi market and surrounding provinces every Lunar New Year.
