Subsea 7, Solstad Offshore and Havila Shipping have announced contract awards and vessel charters, increasing utilisation of their fleets in 2021. The platform will then be installed in Block-0 offshore Angola, at a water depth of around 70 m, from 2022 and into 2023. Also in West Africa, Solstad Offshore’s 2014-built construction support vessel Normand Jarstein has secured a contract from an unnamed Norwegian subsea contractor. The two contracts for Normand Jarstein will be conducted ahead of the previously announced contract with Ørsted at the Hornsea 2 windfarm in the UK sector of the North Sea. Havila Shipping announced its 2009-built subsea support vessel Havila Phoenix will be supporting Nexans Norway during Q2 2021.
