Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday asked Minister for Climate change Zartaj Gul to take back the letter written for the appointment of her sister as director National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA). He said, “PM has directed Zartaj Gul to withdraw the letter for the appointment of her sister written to NACTA. Talking to Pakistan Today, Zartaj Gul, however, defended the appointment of her sister in NACTA. “Ms Shabnam Gul was one of the selected candidates. The NACTA said Shabnam Gul is a Ph.D. scholar with several papers on counter-extremism and terrorism and found appropriate and relevant for research wing.
