HALIFAX—Nova Scotia will table its fourth consecutive balanced budget Tuesday with room to spend in key areas including health care, says Finance Minister Karen Casey. On Monday, the Nova Scotia Nurses Union called a news conference to say that its membership is “fed up” with the pressures affecting care in the province’s emergency departments.
