The months’ supply of new homes for sale in August was a seasonally-adjusted estimate of 282,000. This shortage is also reflected in for-sale real estate listings, currently 97 out of 100 major metro areas have seen double-digit drops in real estate listings since this time last year, according to analysis from Realtor.com. The Aloha State has 27.4% more homes for sale now than it did last year at this time. Californians are shopping for Boise homes online at a much higher rate this year. The share of all views from Californian home shoppers to Boise homes also increased considerably.
