Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen will brief the media about the visit on Wednesday. The Indian ministry said Hasina will pay an “official visit” to India from Oct 3-6 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be her first visit to India since the general elections in Bangladesh and India. But India maintains that it is their internal issue and by no way will affect Bangladesh, a promise that Foreign Minister Momen earlier said they trust. Officials in the Bangladesh foreign ministry indicated that all the issues between the neighbours including the Rohingya crisis will come up in the meeting.
