Bangladesh Chhatra League General Secretary Golam Rabbani won the post of General Secretary of Ducsu, and Saddam Hussain won assistant general secretary. Based on these results, independent candidates secured six Vice-President posts and four General Secretary posts in six halls. The ruling party student wing’s panels took the General Secretary posts in 14 halls. The much-awaited elections for the Dhaka University Central Students' Union and its hall unions were held on Monday.
