KOTA KINABALU: A nurse was found dead in her rented room by her nephew who went to check on her after failing to contact her by phone. The decomposing body of the 40-year-old nurse was found inside the room by police who were alerted by her nephew. He had discovered a strong stench coming from her locked room at Jalan Kenawi in Dah Yeh Villa near Luyang here at 12.30pm Tuesday. However, he said police found packets of rat poison, which was also found in a soft drink in the room. ACP Chandra, who did not disclose the identity of the nurse, said the woman was a local working with a hospital here.
