OPDO Changes Name and Logo, Retires Old GuardSeptember 20, 2018 - The Oromo People Democratic Organization (OPDO) has changed its name to Oromo Democratic Party (ODP). By dropping the word "people" implicit in this name change is the departure from old ideology with socialist roots. It also changed its logo, as show in the picture on this page. The organization retired 14 individual some of whom have been key players within the party and the federal government for a long time.
