Obama endorsed Biden in April - the same week he was endorsed by former rivals Warren and Bernie Sanders. Previously, the Biden campaign brought in $1 million from around 36,000 donors using campaign surrogate Pete Buttigieg, a former 2020 candidate and ex-mayor of South Bend, Indiana, as an attraction. 'I think the vice president has an embarrassment of riches,' Perez responded, not answering the question as it was posed, as a yes or no.
