The traffic suspension will be lifted once the weather gets better, he added. More than 50 island residents visiting the mainland are stranded in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar due to the disruption in water transport services. St Martin's island Union Parishad Chairman Nur Ahmad said island residents are in trouble now as they cannot go to the mainland for essentials or return from there.
