The meetings were very private and Mrs Allwood was not allowed to take any pictures or exchange phone numbers with the Princess. Mrs Allwood became famous after her story was featured in newspapers around the world when she first revealed she was going to be an 'Octomum'. She appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and even received a personal message of support from Princess Diana. Before the tragedy, Mrs Allwood already had a son, Charlie, from her failed marriage.
