PHOTO: EXPRESSCommissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon has notified the official prices of wheat flour according to which ex-mill price has been fixed at Rs95 per kg, while retail price has been fixed at Rs98 per kg. The retail price of wheat flour from small flour mills (chakki) has been fixed at Rs105 per kg. Compared to the last couple of months, the flour price has been dropping since the wheat supply in the market has improved, but the price is still beyond the reach of majority of the population. In the open market, the price of wheat per kg has also decreased but chakki owners say that clean wheat is still selling at a higher rate. Marathon arrangements reviewedCommissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon on Saturday visited the 4th Commissioner Karachi Marathon route to review arrangements for the marathon race to be held on January 29 at Nishan-e-Pakistan, Sea View.
