Sources have confirmed that the two-hour long meeting was held at Oikya Front chief Dr Kamal Hossain’s law chamber at Motijheel around 4pm. Abdur Rab and Gono Forum Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, another alliance leader, said that no Jammat-e-Islami leaders took part. “It [Jamaat] is not even under the alliance,” Rab claimed, stating that the Islamist party will not be a part of the dialogue too. Jatiya Oikya Front leader Mostafa Mohsin Montu said that they would invite all political parties that contested in the December 30 polls. In the election, Jatiya Oikya Front candidates won only eight seats in the 299 constituencies.
