Oil Falls to Three-Month Low as Stocks Accumulate


Crude oil prices settled at three-month lows on Thursday, as unexpected growth in U.S. inventories kept downward pressure on the market. U.S. crude oil for September delivery settled down 78 cents, or 1.9%, to $41.14 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent, the global benchmark, settled down 77 cents, or 1.8%, to $42.70 a barrel.
