Both Okada Manila and Cove Manila on Sunday night announced on Facebook that the management “voluntarily decided to cancel” the event as a sign of respect to the recommendation of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). This is also “in support of the Government’s campaign to protect and save the environment.”In the statement, Okada Manila said it coordinated with DENR after receiving its petition. Cove Manila is the largest indoor beach club and nightclub in Metro Manila managed by Okada Manila.
