On Juneteenth, Tulsa Prepares for Unrest as Protesters March Nationwide

TULSA, Okla.—Tulsa officials prepared Friday for up to 100,000 antipolice protesters and Trump supporters to descend on the city, by boarding up stores and setting up metal fences around the BOK Center where President Trump will hold a rally Saturday. The Trump rally this weekend comes as thousands of protesters took to the streets Friday in Tulsa and across the country to mark Juneteenth, a holiday that celebrates the end of slavery, and demand change to the U.S. justice system.
