President William Ruto is scheduled to deliver the State of the Nation address today (Thursday) in Parliament. According to Article 132 of the Constitution expects him to give a State of the Nation address on the progress of his administration since 2022. The President will address a joint Parliamentary sitting of both the National Assembly and the Senate on Thursday afternoon. The last State of the Nation address was given by former President Uhuru Kenyatta on November 30, 2021.
