One person is dead following a collision between a campervan and a car near Gore this afternoon. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Andrews and Old Coach Roads at 4.30pm. In a statement tonight police said one person had died, and another was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening. A third person was taken Southland Hospital. The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
