The Restaurant Group (TRG) said that customers are unlikely to return to some areas where it has restaurants in large enough numbers to make reopening worthwhile. The company, which also owns Chiquito and Garfunkel's, said around 40 of its 400 sites would remain closed, particularly in some airport locations. A total of 125 Frankie & Benny's restaurants have since been permanently axed along with 61 Chiquito outlets. A spokesman for The Restaurant Group said: "Covid-19 has had an immediate and significant impact on trading across the Group.
