Her mum Debbie rushed her to hospital, where she was later diagnosed with transverse myelitis, Chronicle Live reports. Now Malika, who has been doing boxing and gymnastics since she was three, can no longer enjoy her favourite sports. Malika spent four months in hospital after her diagnosis and was finally discharged on July 22, her mum said. "She's very happy, very sarcastic, very strong which I think has helped as she's gone through this."
