The unfortunate accident according to a report by the Ghana National Fire Service GNFS occurred on Sunday January 25,2026. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded swiftly to the emergency, with a combined rescue team from Konongo-Odumase and Juaso arriving at the scene. Led by Siaw Richardson, the team successfully extricated two injured victims, who were then conveyed to Juaso Government Hospital by an Ambulance Service vehicle, GV-589-20. The Howo truck suffered serious damage to its head and the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
