On the day, Zone-five Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) thrashedZone-four (Chattogram-Sylhet) by 13-0 goals. Irin Akter of BKSP was named the player of the match for her impressiveperformance. Eight champions and runners-up teams from four zones along with BKSP aretaking part in the final round, sponsored by BRAC Bank and organised byBangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF).
