The Guardian was forced to amend the original article to highlight Dr Daszack's ties to the Wuhan lab from where some suggest Covid was accidentally leaked. Fauci added that the Wuhan lab 'is a very large lab to the tune of hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars.' Until recently, the Wuhan lab leak was at best a fringe theory, and it has been mostly laughed off by many scientists.
