One person has been flown to hospital in a serious condition following a commercial building fire in rural Otago early today. Fire and Emergency New Zealand said two crews were called to the fire, in Heriot, in the Clutha District, shortly before 3am. Hato Hone St John said one person was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital. Fire investigators were due at the scene this morning.
